As an Ag Data Scientist at GARS, within Parametrics.ag division, I have been given a chance to lead Data Analytics across multiple projects and products. Leveraging tools such as GIS, machine learning algorithms, and predictive as well as prescriptive models, my role is to shape data-driven strategies that contribute to the success of both our organization and the agricultural communities we serve.

My responsibilities extend beyond analytics; I also excel in data visualization and frequently present insights to our executive team, aiding in informed decision-making processes.

The Automation and Digital Agriculture Specialist Program from Palette Skills designed to get participants to the forefront of automation and digitization technologies in agricultural production and processing. The program’s goal is to get highly skilled workers ready to hit the ground by giving them the tools they need to identify, manage, and implement technological solutions across the agri-food value chain in the Prairies.

As an instructor of Data Analytics and GIS stream, I have designed the entire stream and delivered hands-on exercises and projects, live coding, as well as creating and grading assignments to ensure that the participants have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting.I share my knowledge with participants on the concepts and techniques of data cleaning, wrangling, machine learning, GIS as they apply to the field of agriculture.

The company has effectively applied advanced analytics techniques to analyze diverse datasets and has developed predictive models to accurately forecast desired outcomes.

I had extensive experience implementing various ARCH and GARCH models for forecasting daily CAD and CAD volatility. My work also includes researching CAD and stock price volatility and performing literature reviews to stay up-to-date on the latest industry insights.

In addition to my technical responsibilities, I have also served as a point of contact between professors and undergraduate students, providing student-focused support to students.
